One thing we were all very proud of was Dad's brief stint in the United Kingdom. He had been sent by his employer, the Durgapur Steel Plant to receive training in his area of work. From some of the records still with us, he and his colleagues stayed in Swansea, Wales. For the rest of his life, he was "foreign-returned!"
Dad also went over to the continental Europe - to Geneva, Paris etc. Don't seem to have any pictures from there but do have some of his purchase slips!
